Kanazawa
Kanazawa, on the west coast of Honshu island, was founded towards the end of the 16th century and was one of the wealthiest castle towns in Japan during the Edo period. At various times of the year this town hosts several unique events, such as the Sakuracherry blossom festival in April or the splendid historical parade in June. The attractive location of Kanazawa between mountains and the sea also contributes to the town being one of the most popular destinations in Japan.
Kanazawa school is located in the modern International Exchange Centre. In the architecturally attractive building, where the public library can also be found, the school has five classrooms, a lecture room, with a wireless internet connection and a student leisure area. The school is ideally located near the town centre with its historic buildings, parks, museums and sport facilities.
