2.Purpose of the website
The purpose of the website www.bcnlanguages.com is to provide information about the language courses offered by BCN Languages, including registration methods, rates, promotions and any other content related to its academic activity.
3.Access and use of the website
Access to the website is free of charge. The user assumes responsibility for the use of the portal, agreeing to:
- Not use the website for illegal activities or activities contrary to current regulations.
- Not damage the physical or logical systems of the owner, its suppliers or third parties.
- Not attempt to access restricted areas of the website without authorization.
4.Intellectual and Industrial Property
All content on the website, including texts, images, logos, designs and software, are protected by intellectual and industrial property rights. Reproduction, distribution or public communication of the content without the express authorization of FRANFUTUR SL is prohibited.
5.Protection of Personal Data
In accordance with the “Organic Law 3/2018, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights”, BCN Languages guarantees the correct treatment of the personal data of its users.

6.Registration and contracting of services

6.1 Registration requires express acceptance of these terms and conditions.
6.2 BCN Languages reserves the right to modify the programs and schedules of the courses for organizational reasons.
6.3 Registration will only be considered valid after the corresponding payment according to the established conditions.
6.4 Depending on the course type, payment can be made monthly, quarterly or once a month.
7.Prices and payment methods
The prices of the courses and services offered on the website include applicable taxes. BCN Languages reserves the right to modify prices at any time, ensuring that users who have already registered are not affected.
The available payment methods are:
a) Direct debit
b) Credit or debit card: The school accepts payments by Visa and MasterCard credit or debit cards.
c) Bank transfer: The school must receive the total amount required in Euros, with no additional bank charges. If any additional charges apply when receiving the transfer, these will be added to the student’s invoice. As soon as the student makes the bank transfer, he or she must notify the school by sending proof of the transfer to the school by email to mallorca@bcnlanguages.com
8.Cancellation, modification and refund policy
8.1 The school’s refund policy complies with Spanish law on refunds in the tourism sector.
8.2 Any changes or cancellations must be notified in writing to mallorca@bcnlanguages.com
8.3 Cancellations by the user: The student may request the cancellation of his/her registration according to the modality and the deadlines established in the cancellation policy detailed in the operating conditions of the courses (item 7) and in his/her registration form.
8.4 Cancellations by BCN Languages: In the event of cancellation of a course by BCN Languages, the amount paid by the student will be fully refunded within a maximum period of 15 days.
8.5 The school will allow any modification to the reservation up to 7 days before the start of the course. After this period, changes can be made depending on the availability of places on the courses.
8.5 When a refund for a reservation is required, it will be made by bank transfer within a maximum period of 15 days.
9.Course operating conditions
9.1 Group classes will consist of an average of 7 students.
9.2 To reserve a place on a course, a down payment will be made which will be deducted from the total course fee.
9.3 The standard course lasts 9 months, from October to June.
9.4 The 40-hour intensive courses last one month. The 48-hour semi-intensive courses last 2 months.
9.5 The ELE intensive course has a minimum duration of 1 week (40 hours).
9.6 Students who cannot start the course must notify the school in writing 7 days before the start of classes to recover the reservation. If there is no notification or incorporation into the course after the start period of classes, the school reserves the right to cancel the registration.
9.7 The amounts paid as a reservation for a place on a course will be deducted from the last receipt to be charged for the course. In the event of cancellations notified within the stipulated period, the reservation will be refunded by bank transfer.
9.8 All students enrolled in a course will pay for the course on the first day of class. The receipt can be paid by card or by bank transfer.
9.9 Any changes or cancellations must be communicated in writing to reception 7 days before the first outstanding receipt of the month following the communication comes into effect. Non-attendance to the course does not exempt the student from paying the fee for the corresponding period. To recover the amount of the reservation, the receipts in force must be up to date with payment.
9.10 Any compensation that is made will always be made by means of a personal and non-transferable voucher. The duration of the voucher is one year, counting from the date of cancellation, and it can be exchanged for a course with the same characteristics.
9.11 Official holidays are not, under any circumstances, recoverable.
9.12 Recovering classes in standard and intensive courses: The school will offer the student the possibility of re-taking classes according to availability. The amount paid for classes not taken will not be refunded.
9.13 Recovering private classes: The student must inform the school in writing 24 hours before the class in order to schedule the re-take. The amounts paid for classes not taken will not be refunded.
9.14 Recovering ELE courses: It will not be possible to recover individual days. If you need to stop the course for a week or more, you must inform the school in writing at least 1 week before starting the break. The school will indicate in each case how to proceed to recover the pending weeks.
10.Accommodation
10.1 Unless otherwise agreed, accommodation is booked for full weeks, with scheduled arrival and departure from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival at the accommodation after 11:00 p.m. may not be possible and, if permitted, may entail an additional charge.
10.2 It is possible to book additional nights at an extra cost, subject to availability.
10.3 The student is obliged to respect the accommodation rules established by both the school and the owner of the property.
11.Airport Transfer Service
11.1 The school offers a transfer service from the airport to the accommodation. In order to book this service, full payment must be made in advance. In addition, the student must provide the school with the flight number and arrival time at least 5 days prior to arrival.
11.2 The school is not responsible for the impossibility of carrying out the transfer or for refunds in the event of delays or changes in flight information if these have not been notified in sufficient time.
12.Rules of conduct at school
12.1 Students and their companions must behave in a respectful manner towards their fellow students, school staff and people with whom they share accommodation. Illegal drug use, alcohol abuse and any disrespectful or offensive behaviour towards others will not be tolerated.
12.2 The school reserves the right to deny enrolment in courses and access to accommodation to those students who fail to comply with these rules or whose behaviour is inappropriate. Furthermore, in the event of violation of these provisions, the school may suspend the course and/or accommodation without the right to a refund.
13.Disclaimer
FRANFUTUR SL (BCN Languages) is not responsible for the content of external websites that users may access through the links provided on its website. Under no circumstances will it examine or exercise control over the content of these third-party sites, nor is their technical availability, accuracy, veracity, validity or legality guaranteed.
Furthermore, BCN Languages does not assume responsibility for:
- Damages or losses arising from improper use of the website.
- The availability, continuity or correct functioning of the page.
- The information contained in external links to third parties.
The school has adopted all necessary measures to minimize possible risks for users during navigation. However, it is not responsible for any damages that may arise from the use of the Internet.
14.Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
14.1 This agreement will be binding upon receipt by the school of full or partial payment for the student’s course. This agreement is governed by Spanish law.
14.2 The school has complaint or claim forms available to consumers or users.
14.3 These conditions shall be governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall be subject to the courts of the city of Palma.
14.4 The consumer and user will have the right to withdraw from the contract during a period of 14 calendar days and the period to exercise it during 12 months using the form provided at the school
15.Accuracy of information provided
Despite our efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information included in the school’s bibliography and websites, we cannot be held responsible for possible printing errors, translations or omissions.
